Over a period of time, I was able to accumulate a number of programs that
are used on some of our computers. I have also accumulated patch files
for these programs. My problem is that it is such a nuisance to apply
all the patches by hand.
Since there is a program that performs the instalation of the changes, would
someone have the source posted to the net.
I ask for the posting since I have tried (and failed miserably) at sending
email anywhere except my local site, and as such have not been able to get
anything via 'anon ftp' or any other method.
Maybe there should be a group that provides a list of programs that might
be wanted, and accepts votes from users. Once a program receives enough
votes showing enough interest, the program will be re-posted. If after a
reasonable time (two months ?) and too few votes are posted, the program is
removed from voting and replaced by others.
