[net.cooks] CRANBERRY SLUSH

The following is a yummy punch receipe that is rarely if ever
refused by guests - men or women. Would have been nice to have
for the now past Holidays (sorry about that), but try it for
Valentines Day.

			Cranberry Slush

1 48 oz bottle of cranberry juice
	1 qt bottle of gingerale
1 small can frozen lemonade concentrate (thawed)
1 1/2 cups bourbon (or any other of your favorite
			    alcoholic libations)
Fresh Mint Leaves or Lime Slices for garnish

Mix cranberry juice, gingerale, thawed lemonade
concentrate and bourbon in a large plastic
container (a large covered tupperware bowl is
great!) until well blended. Cover container and
put in freezer at least 24 hours before serving.
Mixture never fully freezes (due to high alcohol
content) but instead turns into a delicious slush.
Spoon into a pretty glass, garnish, serve with
	a spoon and enjoy!

I have tried this receipe with rum and vodka but still like the
bourbon best! I use Jim Beam, but I imagine you could use any
bourbon - a friend tried a Canadian blend and said it was super!
