Has anyone written or can point me to algorithms to calculate astrological
ephemeris and other data (such as Placidus/Koch house determinations
etc. etc.)? I want algorithms to determine a planet's position in the
astrological birth chart depending on data such as time of birth, place
and so on. All I currently have is the source code of a program written
in BASIC that purports to do all these things but I'll rather look at the
actual algorithms if possible. A reference to a book that contains or
describe such algorithms will be sufficient, but I will also welcome
source code.
