[net.cooks] Speaking of quiche . . .

I'm likely to get flamed at by you purists, but . . .
I just tried Land-O-Lakes new "Pour-a-quiche",
and I think it's delicious! I don't know if the
product is available nationally yet, but for those
of you who don't know what it is, it's a quiche mix
in a carton similar to a quart-size paper milk carton.
It's sold frozen solid, and you need to defrost it
for a day at room temp, 4 hours in cool water, or
25 minutes in your mike on defrost power.

For a really easy quiche, use Pilsbury's new
Poppin-Fresh pre-made pie crust. It comes in a box
between sheets of paper, not in a pie tin.
You supply your own tin (or glass plate, whatever you use).

Pour-a-quiche comes in three flavors, I think.
I tried the "three cheese" variety.

Happy eating!
