I would like to obtain a PD drawing editor that has features similar to MacDraw.Ideally, the editor would run in the X Windows environment and provide a wide range of graphics options and objects to work with. A multi-media editor, such as EZ ( part of CMU's Andrew Toolkit ),that supportsdrawing would be even a better solution. If anyone is aware of such an editor, or of a university working on the development of one, please contact me. Actually, a drawing editor is provided with EZ (the multimedia editor for the
Andrew system). The drawing editor is called ZIP (Zoom In Pictures) and it
provides many of the capabilities of MacDraw as well as the ability to specify
various levels of detail in the drawing.
