[comp.sources.wanted] Anonymous UUCP Archive ...

jfh@rpp386.Dallas.TX.US (John F. Haugh II) (03/29/89)

I hadn't been subscribing to comp.sources.wanted for a while and
was surprized to find the list of goodies that I did.

Comp.archives is a newsgroup which lists archive sites. So far
as I know, most of what was requested here recently is available
by anonymous FTP from an Internet site, or anonymous UUCP from
a UUCP site.

Here is the L.sys line for accessing this system:

rpp386 Any ACU 2400 12142506272 in:--in:--in: uucp

A complete list of available files is in the file
rpp386!/usr/archive/archive. An abridged version is below:
--
This is the short listing for the archive on rpp386. A longer listing
can be found in back issues of this newsgroup, or by anonymous UUCP from
rpp386 from the file /usr/spool/uucppublic/archive.
