We have a client who would like to utilize 11-14 character passwords, but the standard binary as distributed by SCO, for version 2.3.1 80386 systems ignores character strings after the 8th character. It has already been posted several times and with several updates. You require a new login and su, in addition to the passwd command. It is still available from here at patch level 7 by anonymous UUCP.
