Is HDB public domain?  If so, has anyone gotten it to run on SunOS 3.4,
and where do I get it from?

No: it's not PD.
Yes: I compiled it without much trouble under SunOS 3.4, using the
SysV-compatible C compiler under /usr/5bin.
AT&T: You can order source from them, but it'll cost a bundle.
