My question on what the black line down a shrimps back
is received 12 mail responses.  11 said it should be cleaned out.
7 said it was digestive remains or equivalent, 3 said it was a vein.
One claimed that it is the nerve cord, and that mercury poisons
tend to accumulate in nervous tissues.
Thanks to all - I think I will only patronize restaurants that clean it out
from now on.
