                             A  GRANOLA RECIPE

5 cups rolled oats                  1 cup broken cashew nuts or almonds
1 cup bran flakes                   1 cup sunflower seeds
1.5 cup sesame seed                 1 cup vegetable oil
1.5 cup wheat germ                  1 cup honey
1 cup soya flour                    1 cup dates finely chopped
1 cup non-instant dry milk          1 cup raisans or currents

This is healthy as well as good.
Combine all dry ingrediants except dry fruit in a very large mixing bowl.
Combine honey and oil and pour over dry mixture. Fold with large wooden
spoon until well coated. Pour into large roasting pan or other suitable
pan and bake at 250 about 1 hour or until light brown in color, stirring
occasionally. Immediately fold in dried fruit while mixture is still warm.
Cool and store in glass jars with tight lids. Makes about 4 quarts.

Variations:
Peanuts or walnuts in place of cashews
Coconut, pumpkin seed, or part flaxseed for sunflower seeds
Chopped, dried apricots, apples or prunes for dates.
Remove or add anything that turns you off or on!
