[comp.sources.wanted] Looking for recent version of C-Kermit

dean@coplex.UUCP (Dean Brooks) (05/20/89)

Can anybody give me information regarding where I can retrieve the
sources to the latest version of C-Kermit for UNIX 5.2?

We currently have the sources to C-Kermit with the header information
of 4D(060) of 18 Apr 86. That particular version only handles a maximum
of 94 byte packet lengths. Does a newer version handle larger packets?
Transferring with this version is rather slow as you may expect.

Unfortunately, I dont have access to FTP but I can most certainly
anonymous UUCP. I would appreciate any information. Thanks.

We have the same requirement, except that we can do an ftp. I believe
that kermit is maintained by the Columbia University. If so, pointers
to their internet address would be helpful.
