Many months ago I found a program called "cfs" or "cfc." As I remember it was a program that (recursively) descended directories checking files according to a control file, to verify that they had the proper modes, ownerships, etc. As I remember the program was pretty useful. However, now that I could make good use of the program I can't find it. I would appreciate it if anyone could send me information about where to find it. UUNET doesn't seem to have it in any of its archives, although it is possible that I somehow missed it in my greppings.
