Recently, I asked about getting the BSD sources for tn3270. Many thanks go to Steve Talent and Peter Yee for helping out. BUT, since we have tn3270 up on Macs and Apollos (BSD4.3), the guys on the HP machines (HP/UX, a Sys V port) are screaming SO...... Is there a Sys V port available for this utility? As always, thanks 1E6 (in advance) -- Steve Scott UUCP: {killer|texbell}!camdev!sscott Motorola, Inc. Telephone : 1-817-232-6317

For IBM 3270 emulation on unix workstations use 'tn3270'. tn3270 for IRIS workstations is available from my machine via anonymous ftp. The machine name is 'iris613.gsfc.nasa.gov'. Although the name of the file implies that it works for 4D series, it should work for most other models. I run on an IRIS, a Sys V machine, so I can vouch for it here. I think, though, that it should work on other Sys V machines as well. If not, it should be real real close. Let me know. +----------------------------------+-----------------------------+ |John H.
