I would like a public domain (if possible) Pascal to C translator to run on an IBM PC (AT to be exact). I don't have a Pascal compiler, and some of the code that gets posted to the net is in Pascal. -- Charles Blair ..!ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!cjdb The University of Chicago PMRCJDB@UCHIMVS1.Bitnet

I'd need a Pascal to C translator - especially MS-Pascal to MSC, but all others interested as well. I already have one translator made by Per Bergsten from Sweden (perb%holtec.uucp@chalmers.csnet). I would appreciate any information about any other Pascal to C translator either commercial or public domain available, sources or binary. Please reply by e-mail, I'll summarize, if enough responses. Thanks in advance. Ismo Kaarineva ik57947@tut.fi

Pretty obvious from the subject line, we need a public domain or inexpensive third party Pascal -> C translator, written in C, in source form. BSD or System V specific implementations are OK: we can modify, and in fact will have to for our home-grown version of Pascal (basically UCSD with extensions). This will likely be used for a one-time translation of source to source, so human-readable C (or at least the option for it) is imperative. I know I have seen queries and/or responses for Pascal -> C translators on the net before, so please don't flame me for not paying appropriate attention. Mea culpa, already. Email responses are fine.
