I am looking for source to some form of "user simulator" program to run under UNIX (BSD flavor). What I would like is a program that will connect to another computer (via serial line or rsh or telnet) and run some specified set of tests automatically. It should have the capability to time those results using wall clock time. Having the ability to do things like character echo timing would be a real bonus. If you know of such a program or something similar or pointers to people to talk to about programs of this sort, please send me mail.
