I would like to get my hands on a few things... 1. A decent finger program. Single cpu only. Just want to be able to search /etc/passwd in a more user friendly way than using grep. Additional fields in the name part would be nice. 2. a thing called talk. It's an asynchronous tty chat program. split screen, uses termcaps, nicely done. 3. An improved getty, if I can get it. Current getty doesn't properly work with modems capable of more than one speed. Would like a getty that takes a single character paramater. This paramater indicates an entry in a gettytab (or similar file) with descriptive data on what baud to use, and a pointer to the "next" entry to try when a break (or overrun error) is detected. In this way, break can be used to step through the entries. It should then print the contents of /etc/ident and ask for a username, which it will pass to /bin/login. ...Thanks in advance for your help.
