We have a bunch of novices who have no need for the full power of vi or emacs, and are used to simple PC editors. Does anyone have a simple screen editor that is "intuitive" in usage? E.g., understands arrow keys (from termcap), probably should always be in insert mode, del to delete. Should be able to handle files larger than the screen, but not huge files. Needs to work on a PDP 11/70 running 2.10 BSD Unix (implies 64k data + 64k code maximum, presuming no overlays). Needs to be public domain or free.
