This recipe came from the back of a bag of Gold Medal unbleached flour. DOUBLE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES Ingredients: 1 1/2 Cups Sugar 1 Cup Butter or Margarine - softened 1 egg 1/4 Cup Water 1 teaspoon (tsp.) vanilla 1 1/4 Cups unbleached flour 1/3 Cup cocoa 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3 cups quick cooking oats 1 package (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix sugar, butter, egg, water, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
