[comp.sources.wanted] software for airflow over a wing

gene@hpfcdj.HP.COM (Gene Burmeister) (08/16/89)

Does anyone know of any finite element analysis software that
shows, graphically, airflow over a surface. Of course, the next question
is "can I get the source - cheap?"

I fly model airplanes and I think it would be fun to study and
show the aerodynamics of same to the rest of the model club member.

The only software that does this and that
I used personally is for the amiga's colordisplay
and was on one of the Fishdisks (PD).
I'm not sure about the source.
I know there is a package sold cheaply (~50-100$)
by a German company that does finite analysis on
PC/AT's with all kinds of display, complete with
thousands of lines of source code (could be more than
you asked for).I think its in Fortran and there are
2 versions (like 2D and 3D displayformat)
Quite some time ago that I read about it, but
can search for the info if you really want it.
