[comp.sources.wanted] *Any* Interleaf filters wanted

tarsa@elijah.UUCP (Greg Tarsa) (08/25/89)

Does anyone have *any* kind of 'xxx' to Interleaf filter that I
could get sources for?

I am looking into writing two: a better HPGL to Interleaf filter
and a .man macro to Interleaf filter and would like some examples
so that I might be able to modify existing code rather than start
from scratch.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, is there an Interleaf mailing list, or newsgroup?

Thanks,
Greg

You might ask your local salescritter for the
email address of interleaf: they have a "kit"
for writing filters for internal use, and at least
	two publically-announced companies writing filters
for them. There is a possibility that the filter
kit can be provided to customers, but the policy
was not in place as of the spring.
They have released several set of public-domain
and shareware tools in lisp (TPS uses lisp as an
extension language), so they probably have a policy
	now on non-interleaf, non-related-company software.

Just don't be stopped by officious salespeople
who don't want to know! The managment is fairly
awake & aware, and can be quite cooperative when
it doesn't threaten existing corporate relationships.
