[comp.sources.wanted] Pushd and Popd using environment variables.

baird@cod.NOSC.MIL (John M. Baird) (09/02/89)

Since Feb of 1986 I have been happily using a pair of pushd/popd
programs written by Michael H. Tsang of the Univ. of Wisconsin.
They store the directory stack information in an environment
variable called "DIRSTACK".

I am in the midst of converting to DOS 4.01, and (sigh) pushd/popd
no longer work. At least, they only work sometimes, and the
"DIRSTACK" variable doesn't show up when SET lists the current ones.

Could someone point me to some programs that use an environment
variable and do work with DOS 4.01???

Thanks for any help.
