Has anyone written an unzipping program for UNIX installations for Phil Katz's new version of PKZIP? Could he post it please? Has anyone done work on writing ZIPer programs for either 0.92 or 1.01 formats? I am working on an OS/2 BBS which will keep the body of large messages compressed using a ZIP technique but I havn't seen anyone doing work on these protocols? Are they harder to do than they UNZIP?

Are they harder to do than they UNZIP? I have an unzipper for .92 (sources and Xenix executeable) on my bbs. File: unzip.tar.Z Located in the 'unix_fmaint' files area of the bbs. The numbers should be in my .sig. -- Bob Palowoda *Home of Fiver BBS* login: bbs Home {sun,dasiy}!ys2!fiver!palowoda (415)-623-8809 1200/2400 Work {sun, pyramid, decwrl}!megatest!palowoda (415)-623-8806 1200/2400/9600/19200 Voice: (415)-623-7495 Public access UNIX system
