[comp.sources.wanted] SUN Sources

stone@marob.masa.com (Tim Stone) (09/11/89)

I'd be very grateful to know if there is a site somewhere which has
comp.sources.sun available for anon-uucp.
I'd also be interested in sites withcomp.sources.sun-specific software for anon-uucp - we have just moved to Sparcstations and would be grateful for any help.

Many thanks in advance,
	Tim Stone.

Our company purchased several SUN workstations with the following
 configuration:

SPARCstation 1, 8 MB Memory, 3.5" Floppy, 208 MB Internal Disk, Ethernet,
19" Mono Monitor, OS 4.0, NFS, "C" Compiler

We intended to use them for schematic capture, digital simulation, and
documentation purposes. We were going to purchase Verilog, and also
Valid software (since we already have experience with Valid workstations),
at a considerable cost per workstation.

Unfortunately, circumstances have suddenly prohibited the purchase of any
high cost software. The question is: What public domain or low cost software
can I get for these workstations? Where can I get it? Thanks for any help
 you can provide. Salesmen welcome.

P.S. While trying to compile some demo programs that came with the machine,
I discovered I need /usr/include/usercore.h. Anybody got it?
