Various friends have asked me, as the only person they know
with access to USENET, for sources for the following programs,
all for DOS machines:

i) Any version of TECO (so I have odd, and old, friends),
ii) ed, preferably in some Borland language,
iii) recommendations for a shell which will run under DOS with
reasonable shell variables, etc. A VMS look-alike would
be most desired, but UNIX-like would be OK.

Answers by e-mail preferred.
