I am looking for an example application written in RATFOR. I need to demonstrate the effectiveness of a tool we have recently acquired that translates RATFOR to C. The ideal application would be public domain, STUG standard, computation intensive, and have minimum, well isolated file I/O routines. The actual purpose of the application is not important, but if it produces a result that can be easily verified, so much the better. An application having between 5,000 and 10,000 lines of code would be best. If the application has a test scenario, and/or test data input/output files which can be used to detect bugs, these would be very helpful in the determination of the overall effectiveness of the translation method. I would return the selected respondent's converted C source code if it is requested, however, I cannot guarantee that the results of this evaluation will actually work.
