[comp.sources.wanted] EISPACK

dmocsny@uceng.uc.edu (daniel mocsny) (08/17/88)

A colleague of mine wants to obtain FORTRAN source (sheesh!) for a
program such as EISPACK. If anyone has this or a similar package
available for anonymous FTP'ing, please reply to me via e-mail.

Does anyone have a port of the NETLIB eispack routines that will run
under DOS? I would like to have a version that has been translated
into C, but F77 sources would be OK. I can ftp and uucp. Thanks for
the help.

Is EISPACK in the public domain or freely available (GNU-style or
whatever)? Where can I get it? Is it available for anonymous ftp
somewhere? If EISPACK isn't available, can anyone suggest an
alternative that is?

Please reply by mail.
