A colleague of mine wants to obtain FORTRAN source (sheesh!) for a program such as EISPACK. If anyone has this or a similar package available for anonymous FTP'ing, please reply to me via e-mail. Dan Mocsny, u. of cincinnati

Does anyone have a port of the NETLIB eispack routines that will run under DOS? I would like to have a version that has been translated into C, but F77 sources would be OK. I can ftp and uucp. Is EISPACK in the public domain or freely available (GNU-style or whatever)? Where can I get it? Is it available for anonymous ftp somewhere? If EISPACK isn't available, can anyone suggest an alternative that is? Please reply by mail. Thanks, Svante (domain: see above path: uunet!sunic.sunet.se!front.se!svante)
