[net.cooks] glass double boiler

I am trying to find where I can purchase a glass (pyrex) double
boiler.  I remember seeing my mother use one and it was great
for being able to watch the water level, its degree of boiling,
the condition of what was being heated, etc.  Any ideas about
sources for these things?  I am tired of goofy textured sauces.

You can get a glass double boiler from 'The Wooden Spoon',Route 6,
Mahopac,NY 10541. They will send you a catalog ; the price for a
double boiler is $34.95 . I have ordered many kitchen items from
this company and can heartily recommend them.
