We need a 'news' system which maintains 'threads' of messages. I understand that there is PD(?) software already that does that (the 'notes' news software?), but I don't know where to get it from. I checked the archives on "uunet", but didn't see anything that looked like what I wanted. (It may be there, I just don't know what they call it.) Caveat: The software must be able to run on a Xenix386 Sys V machine, without severe modifications. (I.e. If it's a DOS package, I can't use it.) Can anyone point me at the 'notes' package? Or tell me what its 'archive' name is? Or tell me of 'better' software to do what I want? ("Rn" won't do. I need 'threads', and "rn" useful as it is, doesn't do 'threads'.) Any additional information would be helpful! Advance Thanks! "Who?... Me?... WHAT opinions?!?" | Edwin Wiles Schedule: (n.)
