dan@ihnp4.UUCP (07/01/83)

IF you are interested in a great tasting dessert that is full of
nutritional goodness and has no sugar or honey or cream in it,
then try my latest invention -- carob pudding:

Ingredients: 3 Tablespoons carob powder
               3 Tablespoons soy powder
               2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
                 (e.g. Dr. Donsbach's Yeast 500)
               1 teaspoon bee pollen [optional]
               1 capsule Siberian ginseng [optional]

Recipe: Dry mix all of the ingredients, then keep stirring and
adding water until it reaches the consistency of a paste
that is still liquid enough to ooze off the spoon.
Pour into small serving bowls and let it sit in the
refrigerator for several hours. It will gradually firm
up (if you didn't add too much water.

Notes: This is a dessert that you can feel good about eating!
Although it has no sugar or honey in it, it still tastes
sweet because carob is naturally sweet. It is high in
B vitamins, calcium, iron, B vitamins, and other trace
        minerals.
