I have some users who are looking for a version of some software estimating and cost analysis package to run under unix. In particular, something based on COCOMO (COnstructive COst MOdelling), or "BYL" (?), would be great. I have seen a copy of something called CANSEM (CAnadian Navel Software Engineering Metrics) which suits the bill, but unfortunately was written to be very VAX/VMS dependent. If a version exists for a unix-based system, this would be ideal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please reply via e-mail and I will be glad to summarize if there is interest.
