[Re-posted due to news troubles; if this appears as a duplicate to you, ignore!] A while back (if memory serves) Computer Language or Dr Dobbs published an article about a subset-of-C interpreter, including source. Does anyone remember what the magazine was, and which year and month? Alternatively, since what I basically need is the guts of a "command- interpreter" does anyone have something better to suggest? It doesn't have to be C, it could be Pascal-like, it just has to be simple enough for a large user community to pick up easily. They are used to an arcane "language" with embedded backslash escapes now.
