ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Anyone know of any recent versions of vmstape?
vmstape is/was (?) a PD program for reading VMS format tapes on unix
systems, but recent versions of Ultrix-32 seem to have broken our
old (1986 or so) version of vmstape.
Ultrix-32 has ltf(1), but this suffers from the lack of an ability to
add files to an existing FILES-11 tape. ltf(1) wants to write whole,
new tapes every time it is run...
I'll post a summary of responses if I find something definitively
helpful that is not posted to this newsgroup.
