After I typed that title I decided it would probably look a little better with a space between "gun" and "shy." What it's supposed to mean is, yah, I like C&W a lot, but a lot of people over the years have taken potshots at me for saying so. I'm also a big fan of science fiction, and while I'm ducking shots from the anti-C&W side of the pass, the sci-fi haters are drawing a bead from the other side. The capper is that I love Spam and onion sandwiches. When I try to do all three at the same time, WWIII breaks out. Now that somebody on this net has decided to brave the fire, maybe I'll come out of the closet. I'll try not to breathe on anyone. Here goes. I listen to WKMB Stirling Country (Stirling, NJ, but I think the station is located in the WESTERN part of town). I've heard a particular song several times, and I would like to know the name of the artist (female). Maybe one of you can help. The song begins sort of like this: I'm tired, I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, I'm sad. If I could find a pasture, I'd lay in the grass. I tried to pick a flower, thorns cut me to the bone. If you give me all your kisses I'll call you my own. For those of you who feel the need to make comments about cow dung and pastures, fire away. I've gotten very good at ducking.
