We are looking for a VERY simple - but (of course - what else) effective
XWindow-(Open Look)-based editor that allows the user to write AND draw
("object") and/or paint (pixel) in it and we would like it even more if
it is public domain (so we are able to change it!).
It doesn`t matter for instance if the user has to define a box to draw
in as long as it is _one_ application that does it all.
