[net.cooks] tomatoes into tomato sauce

I have used fresh tomatoes in tomato sauce and have had excellent results.
The type of tomato which I use is called a plum tomato (or Italian plum)
which resembles an egg in shape.  This particular type of tomato has less
juice than a regular tomato and makes thicker sauce.  They are available
in most produce sections of grocery stores or veggie markets.

This type of tomato is also available after fresh tomato season in the
import (foreign) food section of the grocery store and is usually with
the Italian foods.  They are sometimes found in the regular tomato and
tomato sauce section.
