Does anyone know where I might find the source (C preferred) for an
infinite precision math handling package? For my thesis (VLSI
Minimization/Design for Testability) I am working with some very
large circuit definitions and 64 bit precision is simply not enough.
I only require basic mathematical operations (nothing exotic).
Please respond via e-mail as this is likely of limited interest.

Try sending mail to: librarian@decprl.dec.com and ask about: "BigNum: A Portable and Efficient Package for Arbitrary- Precision Arithmetic". The e-mail reaches DEC's Paris Research Laboratory, who will send you a 27-page report/docs and the source (C) code, just for the asking.
