[comp.sources.wanted] Looking for Init program

jim@aob.aob.mn.org (Jim Anderson) (03/13/90)

I am looking for a program that I remember seeing a few months ago in a
sources newsgroup. It wasn't c.s.m or c.s.u, so I think it was alt.sources.
The program was a SysV INIT replacement. I didn't save it at the time, as
I didn't want to replace init on a machine, but now I find a use for this
program as a deamon handler, so that if a deamon dies, it automatically
gets respawned.

Does anybody remember this program? Or is it a figment of my imagination?
Does anybody have the source and can send it to me? I would be very
grateful, as I don't have time to write it from scratch. Thanks for any
pointers to its location!
