I am looking for tools to help "reverse-engineer" / "re-engineer" a large system written in C. I'm working on a Sun 386i workstation running Sun O/S (a.k.a. Unix and MS-DOS). Specifically, I need to build (document) a current model of this system, by deducing it's inputs and corresponding outputs. The hope is to replace the intervening process with a system that is more manageable, maintainable, upgradable ... (The system was originally implemented using overlays. It is built using ~800 ".c" files, each containing up to several routines.) Any pointers to (hopefully) free, useful tools would be appreciated. Please send E-Mail to me at decvax!cg-atla!yocum.
