[comp.sources.wanted] Turning off the speaker.

slw@mentor.cc.purdue.edu (Joseph J. Nuspl Jr.) (04/12/90)

I have an original Tandy 1000 and would like to be able to turn of the
speaker. I have tried a couple of memory resident programs but they do
not stop the ^G from going to the speaker.

I do a lot of late night programming hooked up to the University computers
in my room and the beeping from 'vi' angers my roommate when he is trying
to sleep. I feel really bad about this and would like to stop the beeping.

BTW, I use Kermit V2.31 when connecting to the system.

Thanks in advance,
	Joe
