My group is working on an infiltration modell to simulate the energy performance of buildings. To make the input and output to this simulation model more user-friendly, we are interested in including a 2D CAD system. Such a system should allow interactive input of elements that occur in a floorplan, such as walls, doors, windows, etc. It would be advantagous if the system allowed to assign values to the various graphical objects. The software should also provide output in a numerical form that can be further processed by other programs. Does anyone know about software that realizes such functions on a PC ? Freeware prefered, but we might also be able to invest a limited amount of money in a comercial product. Please reply via e-mail, as I usually do not read this group. Thanks in advance, Werner Keilholz ______________________________________________________________________ Werner Keilholz | Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory | Tel.: 001-415-486-6878 Building 90, Room 3074 | E-Mail: envwpk@epb2.lbl.gov 1 Cyclotron Road | Berkeley, CA 94720 | USA |
