Is there anyone out there who can give me some leads to find two types of Spanish dictionaries? I am a graduate students at the University of Delaware doing research in speech synthesis for the Spanish language and am looking for the following: (1) A Spanish dictionary (one with Spanish lexemes with Spanish definitions -- not a bilingual dictionary) that includes the phonemic representation of the lexemes. The everpopular University of Chicago has the phonemic translation of each word based on the IPA standard, but I am looking for a monolingual Spanish dictionary. (2) An off-line Spanish dictionary in either ASCII or EBCDIC in order to test my program. A third inquiry has to do with a Spanish corpus, a large text file which consists of a collection of works that reflect the most frequently used Spanish words. This will be helpful to create an exception dictionary for my text-to-speech algorithm. Any information, leads or contacts pertaining to the above inquiries will be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at the following email address: TRITTIN@UDEL.EDU or TRITTIN@ASEL.UDEL.EDU Thank you (in advance), Pamela
