Does anyone out there in netland have source for a version of Telnet which can operate synchronously under the control of an input script. What I am interested in is a Telnet program which runs scripts similar to those used in Crosstalk. (i.e where it is possible to pause the script until some specific output arrives from the remote host). I am trying to automate an application which needs to talk to a mainframe via a Telnet connection. Unfortunately, the standard implementation of Telnet available to me just sends the input script to the remote host as fast as it can read it. It does not wait until the remote side is ready to receive the input. I am a relatively new user of the net, so pardon me if someone has posted such a beast recently. If you have such a program and are willing to share it with me, please either post it here or mail it to me. Thanks very much, Tony Bjerstedt tonyb@rsvl.unisys.com (I apologize to those who saw this article when I originally posted it to alt.sources. Being new to the net, I am a little unsure of where to send everything.)
