I am looking for a pc version of "shar" or "tar" UNIX equivalent, be it exexutables or source code, or a UNIX version of "pkpak", "pkzip". Basicly, I want to have a mean to bundle up a list of files on one site, transmit it between my UNIX account and my PC via modem, and then untie the bundled file. So I don't have to wait while kermit is running and wait through the transmission of all of them Can someone please help on this? Thanks. ############################################################################### Rong Chen University of Southern California Los Angeles, CA

They each have implementations on MSDOS and generic unix.
