Soup bone
1 Package short ribs
1 can (2-1/2 cups) tomatoes
4 onions
4-5 carrots
4-5 stalks celery
1/2 cup barley
1 can corn
Salt+sugar

1. Boil bone for several hours, cool, remove most of fat.
2. Add vegetables, cook 2 hours.
3. Brown short ribs, add them and barley.
4. Cook until meat is tender and barley done.

Serve hot with cornbread--Great winter meal!
