Dear Netters, The Univeristy of Lowell has been contracted by DEC to port 300 public domain packages to thier new DEC station 3100. If you have written or know someone who has written an application of library that runs under unix and would like it ported to the new DEC station , and have it put on a list with other software packages, given to people who buy DEC stations all you have to do is this. Send me a brief description of the package along with a notice that the software is public domain. Then I will send you a contract that states that you give the Univeristy the right to port this packages to the DEC staion. All packages are welcome X windows , expert systems, math librarys , games and what ever else. I was trying to get nethack to run on our SYS V and found that not all
the parts were there. Parts missing are 7,9,10,11,12,13,14, and 17.
If anyone out there knows where to get them, or better yet can mail them to
me. Please let me know.
