I have reached the point of desperation over this. I am trying to get my RM/Cobol-85 recompiled on a 286 system running SCO XENIX in order to get it to run multi-user. I have lost one file that is part of the RM distribution, runtime.o, which is preventing the recompile. Our original Cobol diskettes have been misplaced; the cpio backup copies that were made are giving read errors; the tape archive of the accounting system was supposed to include the Cobol runtime, but didn't. Everything that could have gone wrong, has gone wrong. I am making an appeal to anyone who has a copy of RM/Cobol-85 version 2.02.05 (or perhaps another version) and has a file "runtime.o" in the distribution directory, to uuencode it and mail it to me. I only need the runtime.o file, not the entire Cobol. I hope someone can help me out of this jam.
