[comp.sources.wanted] Program to split file into pieces & # them.

I am looking for a program to cut large uuencoded files into smaller
files and label them as part 1 of x. part 2 of x and so on. I think
something of the like must be around as the postings in the source
groups use this format for distribution of large programs. Any help
will be most welcome.
