[comp.sources.wanted] PostScript cassette-label program from comp.sources.unix

cca13@seq1.keele.ac.uk (G.D. Pratt) (10/17/90)

Does anyone have a later/different version of the Cassette Label
program that is in comp.sources.unix - volume13:-

-rw-r--r-- 1 ukuug 16393 Feb 14 1988 casette-lbl.Z

This has this in the README file:-

Bug reports/fixes or enhancements may be sent to me (Tom Smith) at
        {hplabs, ucbvax!sun!sunncal}!analog!smith
Copyright (C) 1987, Thomas H. Smith -- San Francisco, California

but I have not been able to contact Thomas H. Smith.

I have to problems with the version I have:-

1) if both sides of the cassette go onto the "fold under" sheet the
second column overwrites the fold. All other combinations are OK

2) the shellscript "Printlabels" described in the manual page appears to
   be absent:-

Printlabels is a simplistic bourne-shell script that takes the output
of cassette (above) and surrounds it with PostScript(TM) commands to
orient the output for more efficient printing on an 8 1/2 by 11 page.
The output of Printlabels is sent to the standard output.
Four non-extended labels or two extended ones can fit on a page, and
page-feeds are inserted every four labels automatically.

any help appreciated,

gerry

PS I have the LaTeX cassette.sty which I am using as well.
