Sorry about the repost, but it appears that our news service is acting kinda screwy right now. Hi. I just acquired a UNIX box (Plexus P/35). I am wondering what people would consider to be the essential programs that have to go on EVERY unix box 8-) I already intend to get GCC, G++, and some Common LISP. I would like to get nice shell look-alikes like tcsh. So, could a few people help me out, and give me some pointers as well as info on where to obtain stuff via anon ftp?
