A few months ago someone posted a C program to alt.sources that would identify a terminal type. I thought I had saved it, but can't find it. It used its own termcap file and (I beleive) allowed the administrator to control the order of esc codes used to sent to the terminal. -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Jay @ SAC-UNIX, Sacramento, Ca.
